For a short time, I wrote as a sports journalist for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's student-led university newspaper. While this was not my first crack at sports journalism, this role opened me up to some amazing opportunities, such as field access during and after games, networking opportunities, and time in press boxes and press conferences!
