Strategic Planning: Microsoft's Transition Towards an AI-Centric Business Model
This video project simulates a strategic campaign that Microsoft, one of the largest "tech giants" in the world, could use to establish itself as the largest "frontier firm" in a new age of AI technology. This project was part of the COMM 720: Strategic Planning course.
The goals of the project were to produce a campaign that Microsoft could potentially utilize when communicating to their publics about how they are realigning their business model and to shine a light in general on the emergence of artificial intelligence in our society.
The primary essential learning objectives this project demonstrates are communication skills via the inclusion of concise messaging, along with critical thinking and problem solving, as Microsoft is entering a previously uncharted territory; a "new frontier," if you will.
