Organizational Culture: Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce

I have many ties to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce, the primary ties being that my father is the president of this organization and my summer job during my undergraduate studies, moving furniture, happened to be affiliated with the organization. It made sense to me that for a project studying organizational workplace culture, I should take the opportunity to learn more about the operations and cultural background of the organization. This research paper was included in the curriculum for COMM 727: Corporate Communication Administration.

The goal of this project was to relate corporate culture and communication practices to communication theory, whether the organization intentionally followed theory or not, and I believe this project achieved that goal.

The primary essential learning objectives this project accomplished were theory application, as a large swatch of the research paper involved discussion around Schein's Onion Model, and professional practice.
